We have heard, and answered

So for Presidents Day weekend we got to have guests! And the best kind too. Jessica and Mike came to visit us and they brought their three wonderful children. We are grateful that Mike's family lives so close, so it gives us the opportunity to see them as often as we do. Here are some pictures from their trip. :-)

Grace has proven to have an amazing grip. She hung there for almost 10 seconds (with a little help from dad)
John is great with the nieces and nephews. He's always ready and willing to play and be played upon. Good thing he keeps in such good shape!

We got them all smiling! Well, Mike did. Lawren wasn't quite sure what to think about all the new children around. Once she got used to them she was very tempted to follow them around. Jessica almost got the privilege of the follow. Lawren got half way there then chickened out.
We are so glad we got to have them visit. We love having visitors, especially family!

Christmas break in Bartlesville

We had a great Christmas break this year. All of John's family was there with all the new additions. It was good to see all of them, even though having both families in the same town makes it a little full.
Living in Texas we have many options when we want Mexican food. Bartlesville, however, only really offers one: Monterey's. Thank goodness I love their rice and queso and their sopapillas are FANTASTIC. One of the menu items is called the Texas Burrito. John has ordered and conqured it a few other times, but this time we have it in pictures.

After

Just kidding, he was just fine.

I really really wanted to make a ginerbread house during Christmas break and my mom was able to make time in our busy Christmas Eve schedule to do it!!! This is the masterpiece that John and I made.

Notice the lovely icicles. That was my idea. The smoke was Dad's

We're here, really!

A few fun things that have happened while we've been gone from the blog. First things first, as of tomorrow we will be 14 weeks pregnant! Our little Burki will arrive around July 28th. We have been waiting so long for the opportunity to be parents, and are so incredibly grateful that we have been blessed, at this time, with this gift. We thank you for all of your prayers on our behalf. We know that many of you have been aware of this desire of ours for some time, and know that our continual good spirits and feelings of hope have been because of your petitions. Here is a picture of the newest addition to our growing family! He's/she's about the size of a bean. :-) So cute!

And this is me at about 12 weeks 5 days. I have a feeling I'm going to be HUGE!
